Types austenitic stainless steels provide useful resistance to corrosion on a wide range of moderately oxidizing to moderately reducing environments. The alloys are used widely in equipment and utensils for processing and handling of food, beverages and dairy products. Finish 2B, Finished by heat treatment, pickled after cold rolling, followed by skin pass line to be brighter and smooth. It is the standard surface with improved mechanical properties.
Finish NO. 4, Polishing with NO. 150 to NO. 180 abrasives. It has an attractive silvery-white surface and better than NO. 3. It is the most popular finishes.
